dynamics commerce build process

is it necessary to create a build(pack) for every minor change ? or we can just update the existing pack by changing individual files
for eg: if there is only a SaaS change one needs to deploy build again which takes a lot of time for validating and applying

I think you're asking about building the e-commerce extension package. Yes with the architecture today, the whole package needs to be built and deployed for any changes. This is an area we are investigating other solutions to make this better in the future.
