export GL entries from NAV

i want to build a report in excel, but want to know how do i export GL entries from NAV to excel allowed me to refresh to get the live data from NAV then my report will be exactly live data in NAV ?

    I don't think I have understood your question, are you asking "how to export GL Entries in Excel format from NAV"?

    Meaning that I can extract the data into excel and the data actual I can right click refresh in excel then I can get the live update from NAV whenever there is some new entries enter in NAV.

    This feature is possible nowadays in Business Central SaaS version. Can you let me know what version of NAV you are using?

    If you are using BC On Prem you can directly link your DB using SQL query in Excel, using some sql query, it will refresh automatically live data in the excel file or Powerbi also has other option to integrate.

    yeah. I remember my ex-company did something similar things, we used to import data from MS query to export all the GL entries instead of pay some money buy the add-in &etc. But before IT will do something in order we able to see "IFSPRD", however, i totally dont know where can i setup this.

    You can also publish the G/L Entry page as a webservice and access that web service from Excel.
