I have a marketing form in which there is a button to send an event invite. Is it possible to send a marketing email to a friend on click of button "invite" which is on the marketing form.

The standard process is that you create a segment to query contacts who submitted a specific form, then running a customer journey to send email to members of the segment.
You could also check whether solution of the following thread could meet your requirement.
