Please Read: Important Announcement from Microsoft about Dynamics GP

Please have a read of my article about the Announcement Microsoft have made about not selling new sites of Dynamics GP after 2026. TLDR: No change for existing customers.

    Thank you for the link, David.  Just a question about the bullet points in that article:

    • As a steppingstone to this, from April 2025 there will be no new sales of GP Perpetual licenses. Subscription sales can still happen for the additional year.
    • The price of subscription and perpetual licenses are going up as of October 2023.
    • The Enhancement plan rate is increasing from 17% to 18% and Advantage plan rate is increasing from 19% to 20%.
    • Existing customers can continue to purchase new licenses and modules beyond 2026.

    The first bullet point mentions no new sales of GP Perpetual Licenses, while the last bullet point states that existing customers can continue to purchase new ones

    Can you clarify that a bit, as the seem somewhat at odds.

    Hi Jerry Higgins 

    Existing customer sites can buy whatever they need.

    New customer sites can buy Perpetual Licenses up to April 2025.

    New customer sites can buy Subscription Licenses up to April 2026.

    The change only affects new Microsoft Dynamics GP sites.
