After a user posts sales order invoice, we want the invoice automatically emailed in BC

Please advise on the simplest method

Hello,

Simplest “no dev” setup is: configure outbound email in BC, then use a Document Sending Profile on the customer where Sales Invoice = Email = Yes (Use Default Settings), and have users post using Post and Send (that’s the standard action that posts and emails the PDF without prompting); if users insist on clicking plain Post, BC won’t automatically send by itself in standard—you’d need a small customization to trigger sending after posting.

Just setup a document sending profile for your customer. During posting use Post and Send action instead of Post only.
