I am trying to setup Dynamics GP 2016 Web Client based on the documentation in WebClientInstallAdmin.pdf

When everything is done, i can access the 1st login page, which should accept my windows credential.

But instead i got "Invalid user name or password."

Where can i start troubleshoot this? any log to check?

Thanks Bill. That really hit the spot.

I totally forgot that I have setup account logon restriction in my Active Directory Account.

Now I can proceed to test out this HTML5 Web Client

Hendry is there an additional error that is generated?

Looking at the Active Directory, does the Window User have access to both the SQL Server Machine, the folder from which the Web Client is running on the TS Machine and a correct access to the Reports Dictionaries.

Thinking as a Security issue that Active Directory and GP are not agreeing on something.

Can you post a picture of the GP User Screen where the Active Directory user is matched to the GP user ID

i used the domain\username as stated in the documentation.

the user is created by sa in the desktop client.

i have tried this setup several times with the same error everytime.

How are you formatting your user name and password?

Using your domain\username is the only combination that we have been able to make work.

What other error - if any are you getting?

Did you ( from the GP desktop client ) set up the user in GP - Hendry - and then attach that GP user to the window user domain\Hendry

    Just my thoughts.
