Cancel Leave Request Post Employee Termination Date

We have an employee who requested leave but has since handed in their resignation. The leave they requested falls after their last date of employment so they want to cancel it and book leave in before their finish date. When we try to cancel the leave request though we get an error message saying the employee was not employed as of the date(s) we wish to cancel. How do we cancel/zero down these holiday requests to allow the employ to submit a new requests?

Did you try to update time off for this leave?

Yeah tried to update time off for this leave and change the amount to zero but this is when we're getting the error saying the employee was not employed as at that date.

Hi partner,

Please try changing the Employment end date to a later date and then cancel the leave request.
