Hello Everyone,
We have a situation wherein one legal entity has many companies under it. All these companies have been setup as a business unit instead of a separate legal entity.
Now, these companies do intercompany purchase and sales with one another. Is there a way in D365 FO where we can create an intercompany PO or SO for these business units?
Setting them up as a legal entity is not an option!
Thanks,
Khushnam
Hi Khush,
You can create intercompany purchase and sales orders in several companies, but I'm not sure if this applies to business units.
Please refer to this MS Doc:

H Khusknam,
Out of the box, there is no support for intercompany orders between business units in the same legal entity. You can consider a customization for your requirement.
I wonder why using different legal entities is not an option. Can you elaborate why? This is just curiosity from my side.
