sql query in x++

Hi

i was wondering if it is possible to use variables in sql queries using x++. and if there is a way i can use intrinsic functions in my sql queries. any info or ideas would be welcome and very much appreciated.

    As I've just wrote in another post, see the X++ syntax (e.g. select statement syntax) to understand what it's allowed.

    You can see that you aren"t able to se what you require, unless you call "real SQL" using Statement class. If you want to do so, don't forget that the underlying DB can be either SQL Server or Oracle, you're avoiding the security framework etc.
