Weighted average date and purchase accrual account

Dear all,

My client uses inventory model Weighted Average Date.

The weighted average price is at some point 0.50 cents for 1 piece.

A purchase order is created to buy this item against 0.55 for 1 piece cents (at quantity 500).

Step 1

The goods are received in the warehouse (500 * 0.50 euro):

Stock 250

a/ Purchase accrual 250

Step 2

The invoice is posted (500 * 0.55 euro):

Purchase accrual 275

a/ Creditiors 275

The point is that the purchase accrual account is not settled to 0 based on the receipt of the goods and than after posting the invoice.

Difference 25 (275-250).

I runned the inventory closing to check if this difference will be solved, but it did not. Recalculation and the new item price is running correctly.

Does anybody now how to solve this issue because as a finance department it will be very difficult to maintain and clarify the purchase accrual account.

Many thanks in Advance!

    Hi,

Are you not using Purchase stock variation account?
