My question is around whether ToDates need to be populated in D365 and if leaving then empty will cause any issues.
If I create two price agreement with an empty ToDates, but with diffetrent FromDates will D365 respect the FromDates without ever needing the ToDates populated?.
Price Agreement 1 Item: 1 AccountCode: Customer Account Relation: 105 FromDate: 01/01/2021 ToDate: null Amount: 50 Price Agreement 2 Item: 1 AccountCode: Customer Account Relation: 105 FromDate: 01/06/2021 ToDate: null Amount: 75
Is my understanding correct that D365 will use PriceAgreement 1 from 01/01/2021 until 31/05/2021 and use Price Agreement 2 from 01/06/2021 onwards? Are there any issues with leaving the ToDate empty?
Also if I was then to amend Price Agreement 2 ToDate to be 01/09/2021 as below would D365 then start using Price Agreement 1 after 01/09/2021 as it would be the only price agreement without a ToDate?
Price Agreement 1
Item: 1
AccountCode: Customer
Account Relation: 105
FromDate: 01/01/2021
ToDate: null
Amount: 50
Price Agreement 2
Item: 1
AccountCode: Customer
Account Relation: 105
FromDate: 01/06/2021
ToDate: 01/09/2021
Amount: 75
