Sales order accounting entry - Inventory

Hi Everyone,

I posted a retail transaction statement, sales order was created and posted. Inventory is reduced but inventory entry is not posted in the ledger.

"Post physical inventory" is marked in the Item model group.

"Post packing slip in ledger" is marked as yes in AR Parameters.

am I missing something?

    Hi Bharath,

    For retail transaction, it will auto invoiced the SO during statement posting. Don't need to post packing slip for it.

    Hi Wang,

    Yes, it will auto-post SO, but I don't see inventory transactions in the ledger.

    When I tested in USRT, an inventory transaction was posted to the ledger. so trying to achieve the same

    Hi,

    Try disable "Post packing slip in ledger" in AR Parameters, and please check did you use the service item in the Sales transaction.

    If still have issue, suggest you log a ticket to check with Microsoft support team for further assistance.
