ReportReport

Hi All,

I want to create  a report of opportunities with Estimated close date in next 2 months AFTER current month.

Current filters don't have this option, can anybody please suggest a way to do this?

    Hey,

You have to use fetchXML report in this case.

Thanks for your answer but there is no option of 'not' older than  or 'after' X months  in your link. Sorry did not understand :(

Thanks Yang, but this also pulls the current month, i want the next 2 months after current month - for example July and August.

    CRMhelps,

This can not be done through the User Interface. In order to build this report you will have to use a tool generally utilized by developers.  These tools are beyond the scope of my expertise. I hope to see a "NOT" in the UI  filters someday too!

The link Rawish provided earlier can get you started, I wish you the best.

Thanks Tricia, Im waiting for the NOT filter too, meanwhile this is a workaround via fiscal years

    Hello!

I stumbled across the same prerequisite from a customer. I manage to solve the issue without changing the fiscal period.

If you try this it will (hopefully) work. It worked for me anyway :)

    1. Create a Date and time field with behaviour User Local. I named it "Hidden Close Date". Add it to the opportunity form

    2. Create a business rule using the default Estimated Close Date field.

    If
    Est. Close Date Contains Data

    Then
Set Hidden Close Date to Est. Close Date

    3. Create a new calculated whole number field (I named it Days Left). Use the condition

If Hidden Close Date contains data

    Action
Set Days Left to DiffInDays(Now(), Hidden Close Date)

    4. Add the Days Left field to the Opportunity form

    5. Set the filtering to the view you want showing these opportunities to the following

Days Left is greater than or Equal To 31

    AND

Days Left is less than or Equal To 90

    AND
    Status Equals Open

    6. Create some opportunities and change the standard estimated close date field back and forward to make sure the business rule, the calculated field and the view filtering works as it should.

    7. Hide your two new fields on the form.

I wish you the best in managing this issue.

    Hi,

Isn't there a possibility create a AND Filter on

Est Close Date ---- after ---- This Month

    Est. Close Date --- Next X Months - Value 2 ?

I'm not at work and can't check this at the moment
