Hello,

I am trying to replicate an inter-company general journal entry in Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2013 v7.0. The inter-company between two company have different department and division code.

NAV 2013

Top line is company #2

Bottom is originating company

    Hello,

If you don't get further responses to this issue, you may want to raise a support request to Microsoft support via your CSP / Partner.

Hi, I'm sorry that I may not fully understand what you mean, if there are different Dimensions between two companies, you can use the Dimension Mapping below to set it.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. I understand the IC setup mapping but my issue is with how to setup if dimension codes are variable and is many combinations.

Summary of how dimension codes are used:

Division code represents a person or overhead

    Department represents a department

Entry I would make in NAV 2013 is below or snap shot in first post above

    Company A

    Due from Company B

Expense Account        Division 200 (Overhead) Department 200 (Overhead)

    Company B

    Due to Company A

Expense Account        Division 800 (Employee 1) Department 862 (Department X)

    Thanks,
