I'm brand new to Dynamics GP  - I'm rolling the program out in about a month, and I'm looking for basic courses that I should be sharing with my Payroll team to give them insight on how to use the program.

There are plenty of resources to consider, although, time matters. Since you have about a month, I believe you need to consider the Free HR and Payroll training for GP 2013
     It covers the following topics:

    • HR & Payroll in Microsoft Dynamics 2013
    • HR and Payroll Setup
    • Employee Setup for HR and Payroll
    • Process Payroll
    • HR and Payroll Utilities, Year-End, and Reporting

I recommend redesigning your presentation in a way that could suit you audience, some might be interested in the setup, others would be interested in the definition and daily transactions.

You could even look for local GP training centers that offer such training. Often you will find a Bootcamp of 3-5 days depending on the training topics you choose. Alternatively, you could hire a consultant to come onsite and train all users for a fixed price. I believe that person-to-person training is much more beneficial especially when it is customized to your processes. Having carried out both online and onsite training, I have found that though online training sessions are easier to spread out over several days or weeks, but the enduser retains more using the same time spread out over 2-3 days in an onsite format. Of course, manuals are needed to assist with after the training is completed and the actual work begins.

I will second Navin on this one.  Classroom Training conducted for attendees of more than one entity are a fine primer for Dynamics GP use, and the instructors are very knowledgeable folks; however, their hands are tied.  They must cover the materials in the time allotted to the satisfaction of all attendees, so in most cases they cannot discuss how GP applies to your organization.  That being said, not every partner is equipped with a trainer as talented as certified instructors are, so make sure you vet any potential instructor under consideration.
