We would like to add the tender field to the detailed sales report or be able to generate a report with transaction #, amount and tender

Do you ever have split tenders (multiple tenders types for the same transaction). If the answer is yes, then you Sales number on the report would be inaccurate. It would add the transaction sales figure twice or once for each tender type on the transaction
If no, then you can left join to the TenderEntry table and add the column to the report.
