Portal - Control Style Metadata

In the portal, is there any information anywhere about what the different control styles for attributes other than just repeating the names of each control?

I'm working on something and I need to change the Control style, but I don't know if I need to do it in combination with other fields, or if I need to change the field type I'm using for the entity.

I cannot see anything which doesn't elaborate on what each control style does.

Hi Lee-Martin,

Control style is one section in the entity/Web form metadata, which provides 10 styles for you.
