Dynamics GP EFT Canada file formats

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Does anyone know if GP supports these file formats for Canada or if there is one out there that is similar:

CAN – GDFF and the following ISO 20022 SEPA Transfer schemas:

  • urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:pain.001.001.02

  • urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:pain.001.001.03

  • urn:iso:std:iso:20022:tech:xsd:pain.008.001.02

RE: Dynamics GP EFT Canada file formats

The table below will help to understand the ISO 20022 and the Msg IDs you are referring to:

Message Name                                              Msg ID (XML Schema)    Version

    CoreCreditTransferInitiationV01                pain.001.001.01                  1                              Payables

    CustomerCreditTransferInitiationV02       pain.001.001.02                  2                              Payables

    CustomerCreditTransferInitiationV03       pain.001.001.03                  3                              Payables

    CustomerDirectDebitInitiationV02            pain.008.001.02                  3                              Receivables

EFT for Payables functionality was added to Dynamics GP in version 10 and EFT for receivables in 2010.

Dynamics GP out of the box offers the EFT Format Type 'ISO 20022 - Domestic, Low-Value', which is PAIN.001.001.01

PAIN.001.001.02, PAIN.001.001.03 and PAIN.008.001.02 are not defined in Dynamics GP, you could build them from scratch or outsource the creation of the file formats. Another option is to ask your bank, they might already have these formats or other clients using Dynamics GP. The file formats can be easily exported\imported into GP using the EFT File Format Maintenance window.

Coincidently I am working in a project which involve building PAIN.008.001.02.

I hope the above information helps and good luck.
