Archiving or Deleting Jobs

Hello,

We have a company using jobs module with a high volume of jobs opened and closed during a year and I've been looking for a functionality that would allow either to delete or to archive jobs with the status "Completed" but haven't found anything.

Is there anything in standard that would do this or does it have to be a custo?

In standard BC we don't have archive functionality for jobs, you need to develop an extension to achieve this.

Quentin,

Great idea but nothing standard in BC today. You might consider creating filtered views. Create one for Open, Completed, Quote... so that the User can switch between and see only what they want.

Working with filtered views in this menu works ok, but you actively use the filter everytime you enter menu

It is not just about filtering views.

When you use jobs from POs, job journals, completed jobs should not be proposed by default. That's why it should be archived in another table (for performance also it would be definitely better than when you access the jobs you only get the list of active jobs).
