MSDN Product Key for Dynamics 365 v9 On-premises

For previous version of Dynamics CMR/365 I was able to obtain a Product Key from my MSDN subscription and use that to install the D365 server.

There are no product keys listed in MSDN for v9. According to the person I spoke to on MSDN support live chat, Dynamics 365 is not available via an MSDN subscription.

Has anybody installed the on-prem version of D365 v9? How did you get a product key? Obviously we could use the 90-day trial key to begin with but it's not a long term solution.

In the past we've been able to obtain onpremise keys from one of the Microsoft Partner Portals (now migrated into the new Partner Center). Last time I checked, the partner center did unfortunately not have keys for CRM 9 either so I have to run on a trial key on my new dev instance for now. It seems they are a bit behind in their usual routines with this release...

Same - no key in ours either.  Will definitely be highly concerning if they're removing from availability (as opposed to just being behind on the release steps) - how else are people supposed to run dev/qa environments?  That the reason I have MSDN.  Fingers crossed it's just a delay.  We are also just using the trial key for now, with the hopes that the MSDN ones come out within 90 days...

I work for a Microsoft Partner and we still can't get perpetual keys.  The agent I spoke with in the Partner membership support center said he doesn't see any keys listed for v9.  Either MSFT is still way behind, or they've removed this.  The license table for Competency Partners even shows that we get licensing for CRM On-Prem server for Demonstration and Training.

We’re having the same issue. Here’s the response received today from msft partner support:

    “Dear partner

Thank you for your patience. I have received an update from Microsoft support team and asper IUR License Tables, Dynamics v9.0 has not been added yet on the list of IURs that are being offered to partner.

At this moment, we cannot generate tokens for this latest version, until we get confirmation that this product is being offered to partners.

The case number [] is now closed based on the resolution provided.”

Hoping to find anyone who has some information. We’re also currently testing using the 90-day keys.

That's going to be a problem as my key only has demo key only has 11 days remaining...

I will wait until Monday when I'm back in the office and raise a bug and rapidly escalate it...

I reached out to our Microsoft Services Account Manager.  Hopefully she responds soon.  Otherwise, I'll also try the support route.

Has anyone tried using their v8.x product keys for their v9 installation? This might work.

    same here.

our develop environment is running out of trail mode in 3 days from now. is this really the way microsoft wants us to switch from on premise systems to the cloud?

We are aware of this product key issue and and are working on it. Once I have any additional information I will update this thread...hopefully this will be sometime next week.
