SSRS report not visible in Reports Area

ReportReport
Posted on by 150

I have an SSRS report in CRM 2011 on-premise that is available to run from the custom entity's form and all from the entity list view.  I am trying to download the report from CRM by going to Settings>>Customizations>> Customize the system>> Reports. However I cant find the report in the reports list.

I queried the FilteredReport view and I can find a record in this view for the report I am looking for. Also in the FilteredReportVisibility view there are three records for this report with the three visibility codes.

Reports area
Lists for related record types
Forms for related record types

I can download the report by going to the Custom Reports folder for this organization on the report server. I want to figure out when this report isn't available in CRM. Any help on this issue is greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!!

Regards,

Raj

    Hi,

Check that the report is set to an 'Organization' report.

Also - check the view filters that are defined for the Report views - it could be that there are some custom filters added that excludes your report.

    hope this helps,

    Scott

    Hi Chatrathy,

If you have set the visibility setting to

    Reports area
    Lists for related record types
    Forms for related record types

    So, There is one possibility:

You uploaded your reports through "Reports' section in sitemap and forgot to change the Viewable By from Individual (by default) to Organization.

You can read this blog to more detail as well:

    Thank you.

Thank you so much to all of you. The report was set to Viewable By Individual. Once I flipped that to Organization, I could see it in the Default Solution.

Aileen's guess could be the case here. The developer of this report could have uploaded the report from the Reports section in sitemap and set the viewable property to Individual.

    Thanks a lot!!

    Raj.
