Hello,
users who have access to create-edit a new vendor I want to restrict the ability to create-update the financial dimensions fileds in the vendor.
I'm looking in security (privileges-duties) without successful result.
In the vendTable I don't find something to connect with those dropdown fields.

The duty for this should be Maintain Vendor Master, you will need to find the privilege under this duty for restricting the financial dimensions if you don't want to restrict all the fields on the vendor.

Hi Lefteris,
When you have a new privilege with the menu item VendTable, you can select the References node. Then select VendTable. In the next column, select Controls. Then click on the button Add references. Now you can select the control for the financial dimensions and set deny permissions for the actions which should be restricted.

this is the way that I have followed. But there is nothing that seems with financial dimensions.
In the picture below is the best that I did. But if user write the cost center, it accepts it.
I cannot make it as read only field.
Have you tried to
1. First made dimensions non mandatory
2. On VendTable form create extension and change the property of allow edit to no for dimension control i.e. TabFinancialDimensions.

dimensions are non-mandatory.
How to I create extension on VendTable as you refer above?
Right click on form and create extension. Make sure you choose right model on your project.
As I understand, this is with x++ development. I have not access to build something with code.
In that case you need to contact your partner or internal development team.
