issue with printing Purchase Order

ReportReport

Hi all,
We are having an issue with a purchase order print for one vendor only. There are few other purchase order for the same vendor and we are able to print but for this PO, whenever we print, it crashes BC and we get this error.

Is it only happening with this PO, everything else is working fine.

I have also checked all the document layouts and compared them with other vendors, all same.

This is the filter setting we have and it is same for all other PO's
I have the same question (0)

    Hello Hatimali,

You are printing from a customized report. The design of the report may have run into problems with the data.

You could try looking at the Admin Center's Telemetry to see if there is any clue.

Otherwise, it will be best to seek help from the technical who designed it.

what happens if you print PO by specifying a range that includes that po?

Agreed with Yi Yong, it seems like an issue with the custom report. To test, you can try printing the same PO with an out of the box report/layout that comes with the system. If there are no issues, that will confirm something is wrong with the custom report.

Did you test to see if it happens with a different report/layout when printing the same PO no.?

    Hello,

What about printing using the default layout (Standard Purchase Order (Word)?

Hi, This report uses a custom layout. Are there any other extensions?
If you uninstall the extension and use the standard layout file without any problems, please check your report extension code and layout file.

    Thanks.

    Hi All,
    The issue is resolved.
The problem was with the PO Lines. There were 2 special characters in the description which were causing the print to fail.
I had checked all other PO's and they were printing as expected. It was only this 1 PO which was causing print issue.
The custom report and extensions were working as expected.
