Get Next Number Sequence in Form

I followed this tutorial particularly on NumberSeqFormHandler, unfortunately, everytime I open my form, or save the current record, it does not get the next sequence number; it is always set to XXXX-0001. How to get the next sequence number? Is it possible to get the next sequence number using NumberSeqFormHandler? Thank you in advance.

Yes, using NumberSeqFormHandler is the right approach. Unfortunately I don't know what's wrong with your implementation.

Yes, NumberSeqFormHandler is perfect approach. But you also have to write some form level methods and Form DataSource Methods.

Hi,

In the tutorial you mentioned, please check the steps of numberseqFormHandler implementation on close method of form and datasource methods create, write, validatewrite & delete(i.e from steps 20 to 24) as I feel some setup is missing here that is causing the issue.
