GP 2013R2 Crashing on close on server 2012 with add-on installed.

I have an addin installed in GP and everything works fine on Windows 8 but when using GP on windows Server 2012 it crashes when closing and states "Microsoft Dynamics GP has stopped working". This doesn't seem to do any actual harm at first glance but it makes one question if all of my data is saved correctly. This crash only happens with the add-on installed.

    I see a few 3rd party add-ins from your launch file.. namely Avalara, Omni Price (Rockton SW), Mekorma MICR and Collection Management (just to name a few on top of my head).

    If you want to remove one product at the time, you need to decrease the module counter on the 1st line (i.e. from 26 to 25) and then remove the reference lines for the product.

    For example to remove Avalara, change 26 to 25, remove the 2 lines with 4776 & Avalara, then more far bottom, the 3 lines with the dictionary references to Avalara (the main, the form and report .DIC lines).

    PS: take a copy of your .SET file before making any changes.

    The DYNAMICS.SET file is located in the Program Folders path of the GP client on the server. The file is a text file that you can edit, though if you have no idea on how this works, you better call your partner or the ISV product support.

    Hi Kellon,

    Have you been able to identify which product add-on it is ? Try to remove it from the DYNAMICS.SET and test it without it... Does this add-on use any DLL file that needs to be registered in the system ?

    How about your UAC settings on the server ? do you run the GP client with the Admin privileges enabled ?
