My HQ admin keep saying - USE SQL Server Management Studio. Can anyone fix this?

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I am using SQL Server 2008 and I always use SQL Server Management Studio but, I can't use HQ Admin.

I installed SQL Server first and then HQ. If I install HQ first and SQL Server, then it should work  right? but I do not want to reinstall everything.

Is there any way for me to use HQ Admin without re-install SQL Server and HQ admin?

    You need to install the SQL 2k5 Backward Compatibility Components from here;

    You really only need the SQL-DMO option, but if you want to install everything, go for it!
