I'm trying to format small labels (1.25" w x .75" h) using the RMS wizard for the Zebra LP2824 printer. No problem with bigger labels, but the smaller barcode for these labels (.2 h x .8 wide) doesn't always read. If I make it bigger, it extends off the label. I've tried all barcode formats. Particular problem: they make up product codes for items w. no mfg upc and they are 4-5 chars so as to not conflict with any published codes. Any suggestions?

I'd seen that suggestion and tried it but it did not help.
Try setting the head density up higher in the printer preferences. We set ours to 13.
The default is 7
