Hi

I'm trying to update my quote report on CRM online but when i try to update the rdl file i get this error:

his report can’t upload because there are restrictions with SQL Server Reporting Services reports when Report Definition Language (RDL) Sandboxing is enabled. For on-premises RDL Sandboxing, contact your system administrator. More information: RDL sandboxing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Online. If you contact support, please provide the technical details.

I just uploaded a revised RDL to Dynamics 365 last week, and did not get this error.

Did you check to see if you have the new Dynamics 365 report authoring extensions installed?

Reports will need to be redone with those extensions because of the ACS issue.

    Hi alzelus,

CRM Online has some out of the box reports that still use SQL.  These reports run in crm online, but you can't modify as you can't upload reports that run directly against the sql db.

To author new reports you need to use fetchxml.

    Hope this helps

    Precision:

I download the Rdl. if I reupload it right away without modifications it is uploading ok.

I download it open it with visual studio 2012 add a picture change a picture that was on the report, save it ant try to upload it.

    here is the log

Was there a solution to this issue?

    Thanks
