Dear Friends,

I tried installing GP Version 7.5 in windows server 2003. The Database server is SQL server V8.
I am getting the following error while running Great Plains Utilities.

"An error occured while using the BCP utility--data was not correctly copied to the server. Please verify your ODBC settings and theBCP has been correctly installed. Great Plains Utilities will now exit."

I have verified the ODBC connection.

Can any one suggest me how to overcome this error.

Try looking at KB870416. Are you running SQL Server 2008 64 bit? I am not sure if Dynamics GP 7.5 is compatiable with SQL Server 2008 64 bit.

Boy that is old. I forgot about that one. Try running as administrator.

    Hi,

Right click on Great Plains Utilities and run as Administrator.  Hope it will work.

I recently came up with this issue, I gave the GP folder administrator rights from the user profile as well before it could run.
