UAC window pops up Using Business Portal on Windows 7

The UAC permissions window pops up repeatedly every time the users try to navigate through Business Portal on Windows 7 machines. They only way they have been able to stop this is to turn UAC completely off or make the users administrators on the workstations. They do not like those options. Is there some other setting they can change? Why does it think BP is making changes to the workstation?

I think this is standard functionality for UAC with window 7 and later Operating Systems. The only way to prevent this pops up for Business Portal, you need to turn off UAC control in your system.

Is this for new users or existing users? Once they have installed the activeX control, does it continue to prompt them?

I have to agree with Rob on this that it is probably the Active X controls that are interacting with UAC. Also to follow up on that do you have any group policies for IE that could be causing the issue?
