Hello,

When I print report from Payroll-->Report-->Employee List-->List by deduction selected '401K' deduction type and given payroll date range e.g. 03/17/2011 to 03/23/2011 for one employee it shows dedcution different than Inquiry screen-->Payroll-->Transaction History.Even in UPR30300 table has inquiry screen amount.

Why report shows different amount ?

Your earliest reply is highly appreciable.

Thanks

Sandip

UPR30300 is the transaction history table, yes. Beware voided transactions.

I'm baffled Sandip, I still couldn't reproduce the error. Have you run all the usual suspects like reconcile and CkLinks? Which view is correct?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie

    Ma'am,

Appreciate your reply, I ran report for latest pay period but its not matching and after doing more troubleshooting I found only employee those 401K Dedcution is % base is calculating wrong, it shows two different amount in report and in Inquiry screen.  Alll 401K employees are Salaried Employee so their salares are fixed every week.

UPR30300  is right table to get Salary Details information ?

Any input on above issue will be highly appreciable.

    Thanks

    Sandip

    Hi Sandip,

How many paychecks were included in this range? On what day(s) did the pay hit? I'm wondering if either hit on the start or end date of the range. Can you make any sense out of the amounts? With such a short range it seems like there would be little enough data to figure it. Hmm, I couldn't reproduce the error. Can you recreate it?

    Kind regards,

    Leslie
