Limitations of Fetchxml to the Virtual tables for number of records returned

I have tried to fetch the virtual table, but only got 2048 records returned. This is not even reaching the default limits of 5000 records.
 
The external source connector is the OOB SQL connector. There are 4699 rows in the Database. I am expecting the fetching returning all of them.
 
Could someone help explain the limits of the SQL Server connector regarding the virtual table? Is there a way to update the number of rows returned?
