Removing Sales History

Hi all,

I have a few questions regarding Removing Sales History, we need to remove the sales history for a few sales invoices in our system, we have already reversed all other entries, but the history still remains. This is affecting some of our reports which go off of our Sales History.

I tested this in our test environment by removing one Sales Invoice and it deleted the invoice but it kept on working for quite a while after that. I did a trace and it looks like it's going through all of our Sales Invoices. My question is why is it doing this, I'm worried that it may be doing something other than deleting our invoice history so I don't want to do it in live yet.

I expected it to just delete the history records and that's all. But when I looked at the trace file, it kept looking through other records in the sales history. This took a while to complete. My question is what is it doing? Is it trying to reconcile other sales history records?

Hi, what do you mean by 'It kept on working for a while'...do you mean the remove history process took a while to run to completion?
