Free Shipping on threshold sales amount

We offer free shipping on orders that meet a certain threshold. Thresholds are negotiated with each customer. Is there a way in Business Central to have shipping cost applied if sales amount is not met. When you have a lot of customers and orders its a tedious process. This feature seems to be standard in other ERP systems where you can assign a shipping threshold within the customer profile. When the warehouse employee enters the shipping costs, the system will know if it should be applied or not applied to the sales invoice.
I have the same question (0)

Out of the box this is not something that Business Central can do. But a fairly simple customization can be made that can accomplish this.

You can create a template that contains the shipping cost line.
When the amount reaches what you need, delete it manually. This might be a little simpler than adding it manually.
Of course, customization can be better.

Hope this can give you some hints.
    Thanks.

Most companies don't want the warehouse workers to touch the sales order. I am shocked business central doesn't have this function in the create shipment screen.

There are several shipping apps available on AppSource which offer this.  They include the Pick/Pack process, which generally identifies the number of packages, dimensions, and weights which can be used to determine the cost of shipping.  In the application, rules can be established as to how the shipping costs are applied to the order (at cost, marked up, free, etc.).

I would encourage you to reach out to your partner to see if they have a preferred solution for this functional need.
