
I am trying to log in to my Microsoft Office Business Premium Exchange account via Microsoft Dynamic GP 2016 to be able to email documents.
When I click on "Tools', "Setup", "Purchasing", "Email Setup", I get the "Exchange Log On" window. I am putting in my Office 365 Business Premium email address and password, and everytime, I get a message saying "Login Failed: check your login information and try again". My credentials are correct.
Is something possibly not set up correctly somewhere in our GP? Our Office 365? I am at a lost

You could be seeing this issue if the Email Address you're entering here does not match the UPN for your domain account when you look at it in AD Users and Computers. While the prompt does say Email Address, it really seems to be tied to the domain account.
I've also seen this caused by an issue with the AutoDiscover service since that is what GP is calling to get your Exchange Server URL. In one case a user with multiple Exchange servers could not authenticate against several of them, but when they manually inserted the record into the SY04920 table in DYNAMICS the GP process could skip the call to AutoDiscover and successfully authenticate and send e-mail.
