I want to setup up a specific pricing strategy for one of my customers that will be different from strategy at company level.

For example, I set the Sale prices on Item forms through manual input and my sales model in None. But I want to setup Cost plus pricing for one of my customer to whom I'll be selling the items on a Sales Price = On-Hand Item Cost + Margin%.

while rest of my customers will be buying from me on the sales price mentioned for each Item on its Form in Sales Tab.

Is it possible in AX 2012 R2, Please guide?

Can you please confirm whether your cost price is dynamic or fixed...? Meaning Whether your cost price will change on daily or weekly or monthly basis...? Will you change the selling price on daily or weekly or monthly basis...?

Mostly the Cost prices are fixed for a certain period of time. But I don't have a problem if my selling prices will be frequently changed due to change in item costs for that particular customer, whom I'm planning to charge on Cost plus markup basis. I just want this process to be automated through the system, if available out of Box.

QamarKhan, If your cost prices are fixed, then create Trade agreement for the customer for which you would like to give special price. In General, customers will not like dynamic pricing.  Products which are crude oil based are allowed to change the price on monthly basis. If you have these kind of requirement, then you have to monitor your cost price continuously and change the sales price frequently.  In that case, I may go with a customization

I have a business requirement of changing the prices in this manner. Actually this is a related party to which I'm charging cost plus pricing. I don't have a problem with frequent change in prices as my costs only change once in three months. Trade agreements are not suitable for me as I have a large item base for this trading. It'll involve a lot of workings and before each transfer we'll have to upload trade agreements for items.

The main idea is to automate the process not to change the policy.

    Your response is much appreciated.
