Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00)

Posted on by 225

I was just wandering if there is a way to export the data populated in the Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00) screen into an excel sheet or Pdf.  If this not possible is there a way to calculate the Net Rev (Last column) in the screen in Crystal Reports?  Which table holds the data?  Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance for your help.

    RE: Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00)

Perumalsamy, thank you for your reply.

    Question #1

Any suggestion on how to export the data in the Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00) screen text box into an excel file or Pdf?  Currently, I am able to print but I would like to export all the data into excel or pdf for better review.

    Question #2

There are 7 columns in the Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00) text box.  Using excel or Crystal reports I can get all the columns except for the 7th column which the “Net Rev to be Posted”.

    1. What is the calculation for the “Net Rev to be posted”?
    2. Is a table in Sql that contained the data needed for the calculation to get the “Net Rev to be Posted” value?

    Example:

    Project

    Task

    Type

    Cont. Val

    % Comp

    To-Date Revenue

    Net Rev to be Posted

    FIFA World Cup

    PC

    15141

    50

    7570

    -8039.87

     Again, thank you.

    RE: Revenue Recognition (PA.REV.00)

    Hello IA,

There is one button "Display and Print"  used to print the Revenue of the project in Revenue Recognition(PA.REV.00) screen itself.

Revenue of Project has been calculated based on the 2 SL tables PJPROJEX, PJPENTEX if the project type is percent complete.

    The formula is

Sum of Project to Date actual expenses/ sum of EAC or FAC expenses.(Refer the Project Accounting user manual)

There are three more reports available in SL to analyze the revenue of the particular project.

1.Project Profitability Report in Project controller module.

2.profitability by project manager in Analyzer module.

3.profit detail/summary of project in Analyzer module.

Hope this will help you to understand the project Revenue.

    Thanks,

    Perumalsamy R
