Error Visual Studio Developer Toolkit: Public Assembly must have public key.

Hello,

I have been working with the Visual Studio Developer Toolkit plugin, added it to my Visual Studio 2012. What is happening is that I created a new project and added some existence Web Resource, I make some changes over that and when I was going to deploy the resource again, it throw the following message:

"Error registering plugins and/or workflows. Public Assembly must have public key"

I'm really not sure of what I need to do, I added a public key but still without work.

Just to confirm have you signed the plugin/workflow assembly? Here's how its done . . .

In the Properties of the plug-in project, on the Signing tab, select the Sign the assembly check box and set the strong name key file of your choice.At a minimum, you must specify a new key file name. Do not protect your key file by using a password.

If you are only deploying web resources - you can delete the Plugin and Workflow projects. These projects are likely blocking your deploy because they both need to be signed with a key.

I have set the public key, I did all steps before. This time I added a key but with a password. And there show me another error related to the assembly I don't know why.

Thanks for this Scott, the Workflow was blocking the deployment.
