Job Journal Posting behaving differently

I am posting item usage in the job journal to a job and job task.

Does anyone know why BC sometimes post an in and out entry causing 0.00 net impact on the GL. I believe this is the correct way

+inv adjustment

-inventory

- inv adjustment

+inventory

And other times just this

+inv adj

-inventory

 causing impact on the gl?

It does not matter if I choose “budget” or “budget and billable” line types.

in both test cases the WIP method is Completed Contract.

The entry it makes seems to be random

I have the same question (0)

    Krystal,

This is rather strange. I tested a small Job using the limited information and my entry was + INV ADJ / - INVENTORY. This is what I expected.

Can you reply back with pictures or explain the items more so I can test what you are getting.

    Thanks,

    Steve
