Our team manages project installations using the Case entity. We've created fields to track key project requirement dates, such as: the date a site survey is scheduled; the dates that a computer needs to be ordered, set-up, and shipped to the job site; the date power needs to be installed; and more than a dozen other date fields. Each Case (installation project) could be performed by up to six different techs (we have a field for the tech name) and for up to 50 different clients (Account).
Our team would like the ability to create a calendar from within a Case view. This would allow us to see a unique calendar of project deliverables for a single tech, a single account or even a consolidate view of all key dates. Our thinking is that creating such a calendar would be similar to creating a Chart from a view. (When the view is filtered the associated chart data changes.)

There a few add-ons that will enable you to create custom calendars, but I think most would need you to be working with a custom activity, as opposed to the case entity....
Another suggestion is that you create a custom SSRS report, then display that in a dashboard, giving you parameters to filter to certain users etc...
