Automatically launch Dynamics Process Server and login

How can I have Dynamics Process Server automatically launch and login regardless of the person logging onto the server? I've been logging onto the server and manually launching the DPS, but I found out that I get automatically logged off at a certain time each evening.

Hi Windy,

You should not be logged off automatically from GP, even for the DPS, unless you have some other processes that do some session control.. and this could be either a 3rd-party ISV software like Rockton Toolbox or Willoware, in which case you should add the DPS user account to an exception list.

If the time out doesn't come from within GP, then you should check your server group policies that might be configured at the network level with GPO's to logoff automatically inactive user remote sessions after a certain delay ( usually a couple of hours). One way to avoid this is to login to the server thru the 'Console' and not the any remote desktop connection.

I don't recall if the DPS client can be checked the same way as the full GP client to remember user & company.. but that would be useless in the 2nd case above.
