Hi everyone,

there are several posts on the item unit costs and updating it, but couldn't quite find the one that would solve my problem.

We have a new item (production BOM). The inventory is currently 1 pc, as the first one was just finished. The Adjust Cost - Item Entries job (runs early in the morning hours) didn't update the unit cost for this particular item we have. When the same job was initiated manually, the unit cost was updated just fine.

Would you have any tips on where to look for the problem we have at hand? The future scheduled jobs will likely do the trick for this item, but why did the unit cost only update with a manual cost adjustment job? Our inventory setup is "never" for automatic cost adjustment.

I think we may have an answer to our problem and an easy one. Our job schedule was changed earlier due to an error and the item in question was finished after the production date's job, but the problem was discovered before the next job. Scheduled job has since been completed successfully and the unit cost appears to be reasonable.

In short: always remember to check your job queue log entries...

Hello,

If there is no filter applied, then it will not be the cause of it.

Could you show us the the production BOM item entry's created time and the job queue start time from job queue log entries?

@Yi Yong, if that's the setting that's causing my problem,

Although I would assume this is not the problem, shouldn't this setting then mean that the job should adjust all items?
