I have managed to configure a Gmail mail box and so far CRM is sending emails without any issue.
The issue I have is that I am not receiving the emails in CRM that are arriving at the designated email box. I have watched many videos but i do not seem to find a solution.
Any Suggestions what the issue could be ??

Hi ByronD,
I have actually the same issue, i can't see the incoming emails however, i can see the outgoing emails.
I have activated the option to "All email messages from option==>email TAB.
Thanks.
I eventually had enough of Gmail issues so I changed to using Microsoft Exchange... Much easier to configure and sync without issues.
Good morning,
thanks a lot for your answer. Unfortunately it did not solve this anyoing issue.
My setup is really correct and the mail test for in/out is successful. In my gmail account activities the POP3 access is visible every 5 minutes but no incomming mail is processed.
Any ideas?
Thank you
Good Day, YES, I finally did solve the issue.
This is what worked for me....
From you main screen in Dynamics 365... click here on the top right
Then Click on "Options"
From your Email Tab, change the track option to "All email messages"
A word of warning when using a Gmail/G-Suit mail server. There is a maximum limit of 500 emails perday, if you his this limit you account is automatically locked.
I hope this resolves your issue..
Regards,
Byron
Anyone solved this issue? Still having problems with incoming mails vial gmail!
It should work. But i dont know why it is not working :(
I have set the incoming port to 587
I have done the same thing. But it was working for me . Check the primary email for the user. Then click save->then test & Enable Mail Box->then Approve Email. It should work. use the same port and cconfiguration you have given in screenshot.
Thank you
HI Ravi
Thank for the article, unfortualy i still am not receiving the email under activities however it appears that CRM must be connecting as the emails are being marked read but no trace of the emails arriving in CRM.
Lastly the outgoing port in the article is outdated, the port is 587 and not 465
Thank you for your effort, i will keep trying
