I am just starting to use GP. The weird thing is that all of a sudden the GP can't be used/opened anymore.
Info:
Operating system : Vista Enterprise 64bit
GP 9 version : 9.00.0310(I googled this up and saw that this is with SP3)
SQL Server Management Studio Express version : 9.00.3042.00
This is what happens when i launch GP: It will ask me to launch GP Utilities. Once I click yes, it will go to the login page and i will have to login as 'sa' and proceed with running the GP Utilities. This will lead to a popup message: "The stored procedure verifyVersionInformation() of form duSQLInstall
Pass Through SQL returned the following results: DBMS: 468, Microsoft
Dynamics GP: 0."
Once i click OK, another pop-up with the message "There was a problem ascertaining product version information. Microsoft Dynamics GP Utilities will now exit."
I am not trying to upgrade to GP10 or anything, i just want to be able to use this GP.
