Question on PDK or time and expense entry

This may be a really dumb question. BUT I'm going to ask it...

I am looking at Microsoft's GP2013 brochure and under the Supply Chain Management category it says something about time and expense entry. I'm completely lost. Is there some mythical time and expense entry module that's native to GP? Or is the documentation referring to PDK? If it's referring to PDK do I have to install project accounting to set up PDK users and capture expense report data?

    It refers to PDK.

I think you might need to take a look at the following reference, it may answer your question; Unlimited PDK users on GP 2013

I am sure that the community experts might have a lot to add up as well.

I'm still a little confused... so I want my employees to be able to enter their time and expenses, we will need to install business portal as well as PDK? Or just business portal?

" Project Time and Expense is a web-based time and expense tracking tool for  employees, supervisors, and project managers. Project Time and Expense is accessible in Business Portal for Microsoft Dynamics GP, and consists of web pages  for entering and approving time sheets and expense reports. When time sheets and expense reports are approved in Project Time and Expense, they are automatically transferred to Microsoft Dynamics GP for posting. "

Good reference to consider about Project Time and Expense, for GP 2010;  Project Time and Expense User’s Guide

Just to add to this in order to use Project Time and Expense you have to setup Project Accounting, PDK and the employees in the payroll module.  You will have to install SharePoint, Web Services and Business Portal in order to enter their time and expense in Business Portal.  Hope this helps.
