Release individual orderlines automaticaly to warehouse via batchjob

We have sales orders with multiple orderlines which have individual shipping dates.

For exampe

Orderline 1: confirmed shipping date Mai 1^st

Orderline 2: confirmdes date June 1^st

Orerline 3 confimred date july 1^st

…

I have setup a batch job that reserves and releases to warehouse orderlines 5 day before shipping date.

Now I have two issues:

If I setup a fulfilment policy of 100% the due orderline 1 will not be released because the other orderlines are not release due to the shipping date far in the future. In other words: the fulfillment police which refers to the order prevents the release of the due orderline

If I do not use a fulfilment policy orderline 1 is released. That’s fine but this creates another issue in case of insufficient stock for orderline 1. If requested qty is 100 and stock on hand is only 50 this orderline will be released. That what I want to avoid. Orderlines has to be release only in case of 100% fulfilment on orderline level.

There is a parameter in Sales line details called “prevent partial delivery” But this does not prevent partial reservation and work but only delivery.

Are there other parameters I did not found?

Target is to release and delivery complete orderlines. Release to warehouse manually is not an option due the very high amout of orderlines to be processed.

Hey Matthias,

Warehouse Management > Setup > Warehouse > Warehouses on the Warehouse FastTab there is "Requirement for inventory Reservation", change it to "Require Full" and see if that solves your issue.

thanks for your help.

This parameter is set to "Require Full". Nevertheless the batchjob release partial qty.

But one time last week it works. To double-check the behavior of this parameter is changed it back to allow partial reserveration. Now its again "full" but system seems to ignore this setting.

Is it possible that some parameters are cached and read only once in a certain timeperiod?

Hi all,

i checked the bevahior of this parameter again and found out that i works as expected. But only if i try to release the orderline manualy.

Whenever the batchjob starts which should reserve and release the orderline it reserves partial qty and creates work accordingly.
