Exporting and importing Campaigns, Quick Campaigns and Marketing Lists

Hi

I have a client who wants to migrate from CRM 2011 On-Premise to CRM Online.  They have little customisations and only use a small part of the system.  Essentially, the bulk of the migration will be data.

They use Accounts, Contacts and Opportunities etc which shouldn't be a problem migrating across. 

They also use Marketing Lists, Campaigns and Qucik Campaigns.  Im not sure how to export these and related records such as marketing list/campaign members or campaign activities.

How can I export a Marketing list and the related records?

    Hi.

    I have the same challenge, and ended up using custom code (c#) and the MigrationTool provided in the SDK.

    I used MigrationTool to migrate MarketingLists (list). Then wrote custom code to get all related records for static list. Use the AddListMembersListRequest method.

    QuickCampaign is unfortunately not possible to migrate. I ended up creating a "holder" campaign and changed regardingobjectid for all activities connected to the QuickCampaigns using custom code. Check for regardingobjectids with LogicalName bulkoperation.

    For campaigns I wrote code that "just" trasfered campaigns as is (keeping the Guid), and the same for all related records.

    how did you resolved migration of quickcampaigns(bulk operation )

    i have a query related to this and i am unable to migrate it 

    query: when migrating quickcampaign it distributes and creates activities ,so in my case my all the activities are migrated first which correct data match but now i only need to migrate quick campaign and dont want to distribute it.

    now if migration of quick campaign we do then all the activities will get created and  have date changed and also the ids,

    so i have migrated all the activities first so that created on ,modifiedby and modifiedon is mapped correctly.

    Have you found any solution for quick Campaign ? I am doing same thing. My Client is migrating from On - Prem To Online.
