Hi,
Is there any specif calendar used for fixed asset that is called Fixed assets calendar.
in the depreciation profile 2 types of calendars are available 1. Fiscal calendar and second one is calendar. Please explain what is the difference .

Do you want / need to record depreciation amounts different from the periods that you use in accounting in general?
In other words, why do you need a specific fixed asset calendar?
Would be great if you could explain.

Generally in depreciation profile we are using Fiscal calendar, My question is any specific fixed asset calendar is available, what is the purpose and where we have to define.

Hi vinay,
One can make use of fixed asset calendars to specify different periods for fixed asset transactions compared to the ordinary fiscal calendar that is used elsewhere. Have not seen this used often.
If needed then you can find some additional information on previous threads posted in this forum or via the following link:

If you don't have a specific requirement for using them then just ignore this feature and follow your ordinary fiscal calendar that is used elsewhere.
