Management Reporter - Reports Amount Incorrect

Posted on by 50

We encountered issue in Management Reporter whereby reports show triple of the actual amount when the user who is assigned to organizational structure generates the reports.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Or any suggestion solution for this?

When we remove organizational structure assignment from the user ID or grant user access to all accounts, user able to generate the reports with correct amount.

Has anyone encountered this issue before? Or any suggestion solution for this?

If you created a simple report with just the one account in the row definition, and no reporting tree, and the amount is still triple, the next step would be to rebuild the data mart.

If you set the detail level to Financial, Account, & Transaction and then drill down to the transaction level on this test, report, do you see the same transaction listed 3 times?  If you do, then a rebuild would be the next step.

Do the report use a tree?  If it does, remove the tree and generate the report.  Do you get the correct amount then?  If you do, something in the tree is causing the amount to triple.  You'll want to check that you don't have the same dimension, or a range of dimensions, listed more than once.  Check the summary levels and see if they are using dimensions.  If they are, is that dimension listed in the children below it?

Also check that the same dimension is not listed in the tree and the row.
