Hi Expert,

I see when create new or customize report, sometimes when preview it.

The preview window is minimized.
I don't know why this happen.

Could you please tell how to handle?

Thank you.

    Hi elguaje,

I would start with closing the WinClient and renaming the PersonalizationStore.xml to something different in the folder “C:\Users\<YOUR USER>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV” and restart the WinCLient.

In that file NAV is storing e.g. window size and position for a specific computer.

The file will be recreated after the next start and closure.

    Hi Sebastian,

    Thank you for your answer!

When develop team release object, then end user (we have more than 200 users) get this problem.

As a NAV admin, I don't know can I try to rename the personalizationstore.xml.

Could you please advise my case?

    Much appreciated!

    Hi elguaje,

if the problem is for all users it sounds more like a general issue, so I would suggest to check if you are on the latest cumulative update of that specific version.

Else for testing you can try to reset the PersonalizationStore.xml.

That is an easy task. Either the user or the admin needs to logon the computer.

    Close the eventually running WinClient.

Open the Windows Explorer and navigate to the path:

“C:\Users\<YOUR USER>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Microsoft Dynamics NAV” and restart the WinCLient.

<YOUR USER> is the placeholder of the alias of the windows user.

Then just rename the file from PersonalizationStore.xml to PersonalizationStoreOLD.xml and check if the problem still exist.
